Thank you to everyone who came to join us at our first social & fundraising event. We raised £100.00 for the Ruth Hayman Trust from the party games, raffle & a generous donation from the Glyde House manager.
Aamir wins the ‘guess the weight’
The cake was donated by a local NATECLA member & Aamir won this with his guess of 1.6kg. The cake weighed 1.68kg.
Laura wins the ‘guess how much’ prize
The stationary was donated through the Helping Hands scheme at Wilkinsons & this was won by Laura. There were 1401 items (lots of stickers!!!) and Laura guessed 1400.
#TeamCalderdale rocked the Ruth Hayman quiz, with #TeamKirklees and #TeamLeeds holding their own in a three-way tie-breaker.
The Y&H branch are a small committee of volunteers. We meet face to face in Leeds 2-3 times a year & in the run up to events have online meetings. If you would like to join us please get in touch.
